Usk (Welsh: Brynbuga) is a little picturesque town inside Monmouthshire, situated X miles northeast of Newport. A River Usk flows through a town and is spanned by an ancient, arced stone bridge at the southern entrance to the town.
Usk was founded around 55AD as a Roman settlement of Burrium and was the thriving market town across Victorian times. A todays people is to a lesser degree 2,500 & a town is known for its outstandingly abundant supply of public house & eating house. Numbers of population will make a Decade-mile cause from either Newport for a quietly meal out of a bustle of the city. A main street occurs as super narrow collection of old houses & businesses (a few dating back to the 15th century), and lives the tranquil town square.
Usk won a Big Village award in the 2005 Britain in Bloom awards.
